The SEC Reporting team leads the preparation of the Company s annual and quarterly filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including the Forms 10-Q and 10-K, as well as period 8-K filings. This particular role will be specifically focused on assisting with the preparation of all aspects of the Form 10-Qs and Form 10-K filing process.The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, results-oriented person who can develop and maintain relationships across State Street and with a wide variety of associates, based on trust, teamwork and knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Specific responsibilities include the following:Provide SEC accounting, reporting and XBRL assistance with State Street s SEC reporting function, in the accurate and timely filing of all applicable SEC reports, including the Annual Report on Form 10-K, Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q, Current Reports on Form 8-K, as well as other filings as neededUnderstand accounting transactions and be able to communicate them in financial statement presentation and disclosuresAbility to build relationships and work in a collaborative environment with teams around the globeWork in a fast-paced, challenging environment with multiple and competing prioritiesParticipate in the building of an automation plan over SEC reportingWorking with the regulatory reporting team to drive consistency in automation initiatives across both teamsCollaborating with various businesses partners to identify data sources and attributes to be utilized during automationEXPERIENCE:Proven track record of business success, with a minimum of 5-6 years of overall experience, preferably at a large financial services company or in public accountingExperience in accounting and finance with strong technical knowledge of financial services industry accounting and reportingExperience with SEC reporting and XBRL preferredStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skillsHigh level of interpersonal skills and integrityEDUCATION: Chartered Accountant / CPA,
