Job Description

    Position: AP Lead Manager Finance & AccountsFunctional Area: Finance & AccountsEducational Qualifications: CA Inter pass with 7-8 years of experience in Accounts Payable/B.com with at least 12 years of experience.Experience: - 7-12 yearsLocation: - Bangalore (Victoria Layout)- Ownership of AP (Accounts Payables) including ageing, reconciliation & review of the same. Also, to ensure vendor payments as per agreed terms.- Month end expense review and accounting of closing entries including proper accrual accounting.- Monthly review of Advances paid to vendors, category wise vendor advance analysis.- Review and post monthly expenses entries by ensuring appropriate classifications.- Follow ups with regional teams and inter departmental teams for regular bill bookings.- Knowledge of Corporate Accounting Inter unit Accounting & recon, prepaid and month end adjustment entries.- Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.- Capable of GL review independently and its accounting.- Preparing Audit schedules related to Major expenses, Trade Payables & Advances to help in smooth completion of Statutory Audits.- Implement reports, controls, and processes within the business to ensure better management information and to improve reporting cycle.- Effective knowledge of accruals, prepayments and cost accounting from a month closure perspective.- Working knowledge of Direct taxation and Indirect taxation TDS, TCS accounting etc.- Ensure timely audit closure, support, and coordinate overall audit process, liaise with auditors to finalise list of deliverables for AP Audit and documentation needed. Coordination of documentation support and providing necessary explanations wherever required.Candidate Profile:- Ability to work under pressure (deadlines) with strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with internal and external stakeholders.- Detail oriented and motivated to take ownership and accountability.- Prior experience in handling the finance control.- Advance Excel is must.
