At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewTE Connectivitys Marketing Designer teams provide design expertise across a variety of mediums (digital, video, PPT, print, etc.), managing TE s visual identity through the development of brand assets and templates, requiring an understanding of printing process and design requirements. They work closely with other marketing colleagues to visually tell the TE story and create brand identity, executing across all online and offline marketing channels with consistency. They execute various design projects for customer and prospect audiences, including but not limited to: web properties, email, social media, branded merchandise, print and tradeshows. The Designer teams have strong design skills, both creative and technical, and an understanding of integrated and digital marketing channels, techniques and tools; working across various marketing and content management systems; and have experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud.Summary:As a Graphic Designer with the Global Energy Marketing Team at TE Connectivity, you are responsible for the design, development and execution of creative deliverables for leading-edge Marketing and Digital solutions. You bring a deep understanding of Brand with core strengths in design and communications.This position is responsible for creating marketing content from concept to production ready design, while collaborating with other creatives and integrated marketers within the team across the globe. You are passionate about visual storytelling with an eye for details and a blend of creative and technical production skills. You can work with a variety of stakeholders from different cultures, to communicate creative design solutions and deliver complete, quality work on time.Responsibilities:Concept and design visual aspects of marketing campaigns, collaterals, website and other media, including infographics, videos, print material and social creative Develop and manage the design brief to record requirements, business unit s needs as well as the timing associated with execution Work with the business unit s marketing team to create cohesive designs that reflect our business unit s goals and objectives Ensure compliance with company brand standards Amend final designs to business unit s comments and gain full approval prior to distribution Illustrate concept by designing mockups of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts Work with a wide range of media and use Adobe Creative graphic design software Create, modify and adapt in different languages Product Brochures, Data sheets, Posters, Print and Digital Ads, PowerPoint presentations Edit existing videos, including subtitles, video cutting and copy update Own and manage the business unit s internal asset management and storage system Skills:5+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign as well as for video editing; Adobe Premiere & Adobe After Effects Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Knowledge of file types including web, print and video requirements, file output and general production requirements Portfolio demonstrates ability to design across mediums, strong grasp of composition, layout and typography Adaptive and creative design eye Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize Excellent communication skills Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers Working knowledge on HTML5 and JavaScript a plus, but not requiredCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation,
