In this role, you will be part of a team of resources across the globe and partner with business customers, vendors, and other technical teams supporting Oracle Financials.

  • Build strong partnerships with Pearson internal business customers, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Acts as a techno-functional analyst in some of the oracle business domains: General Ledger, Project Accounting and Project Billing, and Revenue Recognition, Inventory, Bills of Material, Work in Process, Advanced Supply Chain Management ASAP, Order Management OM, Trading Community Architecture TCA, Advanced Pricing, and Shipping.
  • Provide process enhancements to improve the efficiency of the Oracle ERP platform with excellent knowledge of business processes and how they fit in Oracle ERP.
  • Provide on-going support to address the incidents and problems in the Oracle ERP system. Generate ad hoc reports to measure and to communicate the health of the application.
  • Focus on reducing recurrence issues caused by Oracle ERP Batch and online transactions.
  • Deliver and/or track the delivery of issue resolutions to meet the SLA s and KPI s.
  • Prepare process flows, requirement documents, user training, and on-boarding documents to support upcoming projects and enhancements.

  • Minimum 8 years of Oracle ERP Techno-Functional experience in a global organization.
  • Hands-on experience at least in one or two business functions such as Finance, Project Accounting, HR, Order Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
  • Global Oracle ERP Operations experience with Oracle apps administration, functional configuration, integration, and troubleshooting skills are a must.
  • Excellent executive reporting skills and ability to assign and get work done from cross-functional technical teams with different levels of seniority.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills, including the ability to effectively manage resources and manage multiple activities of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to improve operational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness across all lines of business and processes and technology platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.
  • Thrives in a complex global environment working across multiple areas while taking ownership of functional domain.
