Job Description

    Project Overview Project goal is to create/deliver self-service infrastructure experience of services to developer community. (very high level) Contractor s Role Within an Agile team to take on a variety of stories to create cloud platform services and frameworks to build our Private Cloud platform Design and implement automation utilizing VMWare vRealize products to delivery infrastructure services vRealize Automation (VRA), vRealize Orchestrator (VRO) Use tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS to validate requirements, deploy, and troubleshoot deployments of code and technologies in stage and production environments Demonstrate knowledge of container technology (such as Docker), database technology (such as MySQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB, CockroachDB or Postgresql and development language (such as Java, Perl, PHP or Python) Demonstrate knowledge base coding with Ansible and / or Terraform automation scripting languages Experience Level: 7+ years Senior Qualifications: Hands-on Experience coding with Ansible and / or Terraform automation scripting languages Hands on experience with VMWare Cloud Services vRealize Automation (VRA) - Cloud Assembly, Codestream, ServiceBroker vRealize Orchestrator (VRO) Hands-on technical experience in designing, building and securing Self-Service and Private Working with a GIT-compliant code management sys (eg. Github, GitLab, BitBucket) Experience working in DevOps environment with an ability to script/code Prior experience writing in at least two of the following (Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) Remaining Qualifications Azure DevOps/VSTS Nice to Haves: Knowledge of application security and secure software development practices. Experience with sub-netting, software defined networking, and NSX Advanced Load Balancer Familiarity with vulnerability management technologies a plus. Knowledge in Financial Services and FinTech is a plus Display skills in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, packet analysis, etc. Tasks & responsibilities: Day to day, this person will work within an Agile Application Development team on our Private Cloud Infrastructure developing self-service infrastructure provisioning services using our VMWare Cloud Services, Ansible, and other cloud scripting technologies working on both on both Windows and Linux OS platforms. Using experience with assessment, implementation, optimization, and documentation of broad set of security technologies and processes such as data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, systems security, network security within IaaS, PaaS environments and CI/CD pipeline tooling and deployments.,
