Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.What you will be doing

  • Expert level familiarity with aspects of application packaging, e.g. Wise, Flexera, Install Shield, WinBatch Studio, and MSI development.
  • Strong Experience with scripting: VB Script, PowerShell, Batch
  • SCCM - Deployment, Packaging, Patching, Reporting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft development technologies ADO, OLEDB
  • Experienced and comfortable with collaborating via email and verbally with application developers.
  • Should be flexible to work in shifts.
What you bring:
  • Be Part of Client Application Packaging support team which consists of 5 Members across US and India
  • Participate in development, QA testing, and production rollout of software packages working closely with the System Center Configuration Management team.
  • Serve on a team of resident experts in the Microsoft desktop operating system discipline who diligently interface with other engineering groups to ensure continued relevance of the technical solutions. Hold in-depth knowledge of every aspect of the software packaging environment, as well as provide expertise in troubleshooting and identifying problems in support of on-call persons with Level 2/3 expertise.
  • Suggest design standards and guidelines, as well as automation to ensure adherence, e.g. desired configuration management Ensure ongoing evolution of the software packaging solutions platform to support business requirements and align with the corporate IT strategy
