Job Description

    Silvermine Software is seeking a talented Technology Lead to manage a team that will architect, design, implement, and maintain various cloud-based services and client implementations platforms.YOE: 10-12 Years of Experience- Experience working in an early-stage product startup (B2C/SaaS)- You are an obsessive list maker and a taskmaster who gets great pleasure from keeping others organized, problem-solving, coordinating concurrent activities, communicating with both technical and business types, and ensuring your projects are delivered on time- You are a mix of project manager and development manager, you can write specs, understand technical requirements, and are able to guide a product based project from conception to launch - You have deep and broad services architecture and hands-on software engineering/ development experience and are able to roll up your sleeves and write code if needed- Technical project management experience leading a full stack development team- Demonstrated experience building large-scale, high-traffic, 3 tier services stacks- Extensive expertise with services software stack architecture including building and maintaining database schemas, workflow optimization, batch processing, microservices architectures, and tiered caching architectures to optimize content delivery- SOA and REST API design and development- The architecture of full-stack systems at scale- Managed the design, development, and operation of one or more full-stack consumer apps at scale, including:- Native mobile apps for both iOS and Android (both phone and tablet)- Responsive web apps- Autoscaling, load-balanced, high availability, Java-based, multi-tiered, dual AZ microservices stack in AWS running on Docker containers and managed by either Fargate or Kubernetes - note that you must be able to exhibit in-depth expertise in the configuration, operation, and scaling of workloads using the container management framework you assert competency- Competency in the configuration, deployment, and operation of the following minimum set of AWS components: Docker plus either ECS/Fargate or EKS/Kubernetes, ECR, Aurora, ALB, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch. CloudTrail is nice to have.- Experience in securing AWS-based applications stacks using IAM, Network ACLs, and VPC. GuardDuty, Shield, WAF, Config, Secrets Manager, KMS are nice to have- Deep hands-on experience configuring and operating the following AWS products/platforms: EC2, ALB/ELB, S3, Route 53, AMI, CloudFormation, ASGs, Fargate/EKS, CloudFront, Docker, ECS, RDS, KMS, IAM, WAF.,
