Job Description

    Job DescriptionCommunications Specialist We are looking to hire a dedicated communications officer to join our team. The communications officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate content, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.To succeed as a communications officer, you should be able to think creatively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education:A bachelors degree with experience as a communications officer or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.Responsibilities:
    • Develop, write, edit and distribute content and communications materials, including press releases, blog posts, speeches, marketing material and social media content that communicates the organizations activities, products and/or services.
    • Carry out cross functional activities that required understanding of the organizational programs and mapping them to the section objective
    • Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective communications strategy based on our target audience.
    • Assist the business development team with new learnings, current affairs of the team and present the new development to them, so that the same can be taken to market.
    • Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
    • Track analytics and create reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree in communications, journalism, or related field
    • Minimum of 2 to 5 years relevant experience in a communications role
    • Basic Understanding of new age technologies like Data science and engineering, AI, ML, Cognitive and Process automation.
    • Ability to prepare proposals, content driven artefacts like newsletters etc.
    • Excellent collaboration skills
    • Proficient in power-points, template designs for newsletters, posters and presentation
    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
    • Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
    • Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
    • Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
