Job Description

    Job summaryThe role involves managing a team of 150+ people, partnering with Retail teams WW on Business goals, driving Coverage of RBS Service menu and partnering with tech teams to drive automation. This role will closely work senior leadership team in Europe and in India to scale overall vendor management operations for AVS Vendors. Key success factors for this role will be performance on Business goals, Operational metrics, Vendor Experience and Cost of operations. Incumbent will be expected to scale this program to WW paid vendors Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will have a solid background in Operations and Retail Vendor Management with exposure to project management. Additionally, you will have program management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, identify game-changing opportunities and own project execution. Lastly, you will be expected to deliver solutions and programs that are technology based, highly scalable, secure, and flexible - all while maintaining a good customer and business partner focus. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify, define, and specify solutions meeting our customer s and vendor s needs. You will have a demonstrated record of team building and execution in a high volume operational environments and be able to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. This requires a person that is very metrics driven, yet has the vision to scale the business. The individual would be responsible for overall planning, budgeting, growth, delivery, process efficiency and productivity for their respective work groups. The individual would have targets on Business metrics, Operational metrics and automation. Would engage with AVS teams and build customer confidence through quality delivery, robust processes and sound reporting metrics. The individual would be responsible and be a point of escalation for the delivery by the teams reporting to him/herKey job responsibilities Responsibilities of this leader include: Own and Deliver on input and output metrics like ROOS, C-Returns, IDQ score, Deal OPS for AVS Vendors. Set up review mechanisms with Vendors and Brand specialists to drive performance Drive Operational excellence through improvement in SLAs, Positive Response rates (PRR), Vendor Experience Lead an organization of 150+ employees spread across multiple countries (India & EU). Drive team engagement, head count planning and hiring across multiple countries. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and vendor/seller experience. This role is within the PSPS/AVS Pillar that supports Amazons Tier 1 vendors through providing business operations services. As a Senior Operations Manager, you will lead and grow vendor management operations focused on key tasks for our premium Tier1 vendors., Basic Qualifications: 12+ years of senior level experience in high impact roles in operations including marketing/supply chain/ or vendor management Track record of delivering results, setting direction, conceptualizing and implementing transformational initiatives Have managed a large team as 3rd or higher-level manager Firm track record of recruiting, hiring and developing talent High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment figuring it out and adapting as you go Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes A willingness to roll up sleeves to get stuff done People Management (leadership role, managing Operations Managers, team management, floor control and retention) Formulate, Implement, Track career path & Individual Development Plans of each member in the team Metrics Management Mentor and guide Quality lead / Process Expert to manage quality, improve process efficiency and minimize variation, conceptualize, design and deliver trainings to the team Manage the team and ensure high service delivery and execution Co-owner in the process of budget planning Bachelors Degree Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree/MBA(Ops/Strategy), Certification in Project Management/process excellence (PMP, Six Sigma) Experience with presenting to and influencing at all levels within a large, cross-functional organization. Exposure to working with technology teams and solving operational issues using technology (Machine Learning) Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive projects and ensure closure within stipulated timelines
