You demonstrate a breadth of knowledge in the following disciplines: You have a strong aptitude for trouble shooting and problem solving. You maintain SLA s through the implementation of proactive issue detection and reporting. You write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries. You show good judgment and instincts in decision making. Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment. You regularly identify and incorporate improvements to service monitoring. Established good working relationships with relevant personnel across Amazon. You adapt much more quickly to new technologies and products. You recognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialogue to resolve them. You have a solid understanding of Linux operating systems. You show a strong ability to troubleshoot documented issues and routinely go beyond the documentation to determine root cause., BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines 1 to 3 years of experience in development/network systems/infrastructure/Production Support Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system Scripting knowledge in one or more of Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal & written communication skills Strong understanding of support processes handling tickets, monitoring, processes and metrics Ability to solve complex problems independently. Strong as an individual contributor creating and managing standard operating procedures and internal processes Good to have basic knowledge of AWS - Exceptional
    • Hands on experience with distributed and/or enterprise applications
    • Proven track record of service improvement and optimization in production
    • Exposure to processes improvement techniques. Operational Excellence is definitely an added advantage
    • Experience with any programming languages
    • Exceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
