Job Description

    • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
    • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
    • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
    • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
    • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
    • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
    • Passionate about building an innovative culture
    • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
    • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
    Required:
    • 10+ years of experience in developing enterprise Java/J2ee based applications
    • Strong experience in Java programming language
    • Demonstrated building cloud native microservices using Spring Boot
    • Good with development tools such as Intellij, Bitbucket, Sqldeveloper/Toad, JIRA etc
    • Strong Analysis and Problem Solving Skills
    • Experience in Financial Industry is a plus
    • Familiarity with Splunk, Dynatrace, BlazeMeter, DevTest is preferred
    Desirable:
    • Experience with Hadoop, Java Spark and Autosys
    • Experience with Python, Linux shell scripting
    • Experience developing open-source libraries or internal libraries that are integrated into applications by other internal teams
    • Build automation using Maven
    • Experience configuring Continual Integration in Jenkins
    • Experience with Cloud native software deployment ideally AWS or PCF
    • Experience with message bus technologies such as Kafka
    • Experience with database technologies (e.g. Cassandra, Oracle, Hive)
