The Lab is investigating next-generation CPU microarchitectures with research spanning topics such as branch and value predictors, code and data prefetchers, criticality-based processing, security and advanced cache and heterogeneous memory hierarchies to fuel massive IPC. The Lab is growing and seeking application for CPU Architecture Researchers who will be hired as Research Scientists at Intel Bangalore, India CPU Architecture Researchers are responsible for power/area/performance driven architecture, microarchitecture development and optimization. Strong software expertise in C++/Perl/Python and experience building architecture simulators or system software is very relevant to most of these roles.QualificationsIdeal candidate would have an advanced MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a top University. CPU, GPU or SoC architecture and microarchitecture expertise is a requirement. Superlative Software skills in C/C++ and in scripting languages such as Perl/Python in the Linux environment would be required. Prior experience in developing System Software, Compilers and Emulators/Simulators would be very useful.
