Job Description

    Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements for all employees, including regular and contingent workers.Maintain payroll records, including bonuses, overtime, leave balances, and other compensations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting.Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, tax rates, and regulations, and implement necessary adjustments to payroll systems and procedures accordingly.Address employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings, providing clear and accurate information.Statutory Compliance and Taxation:Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and taxation requirements specific to the manufacturing sector, such as Factories Act, Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, etc.Prepare and file necessary reports and returns related to payroll taxes, including but not limited to income tax, provident fund, ESI (Employee State Insurance), professional tax, etc.Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate deduction and remittance of taxes, deductions, and contributions, minimizing the risks associated with non-compliance.Collaborate with external consultants, tax authorities, and auditors during tax assessments, audits, or inspections, providing necessary documentation and explanations.Develop and implement internal controls and processes to mitigate compliance risks, keeping abreast of changing tax laws and advising management on their implications for the organization.Statutory Compliance, Workmen Compensation Act, Gratuity Calculation, ESI, PF, superannuation,Group Medical Policy, Calculation On OT, Leave management,Manual Knowledge and software knowledge Salary fixation, Bonus Calculations, and growth Medical Insurance, Income tax, taxation, reconciliation,End to end payroll Management
