Job Description

AM, Power BI Developer. In this role, you are expected with the client and business teams to build Power BI Dashboards leveraging data from multiple sources like Oracle, SQL Server etc. you will understand the functional requirements for the business process (good to have experience in various SLDC development processes Agile, Waterfall) and develop powerful insights using Power BI as the Dashboarding/reporting tool Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert on Microsoft Power BI , advanced analytics, and information management technology with a requirement to participate in all the stages of the development
  • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Systems & Tools ( Microsoft Power BI , SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Qlikview, Spotfire etc.)
  • Working understanding of different data, reporting and analytics tools and how they are leveraged within an organization
  • Working knowledge of databases like SQL Server , SQL Azure, Oracle etc.
  • A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain all aspects of, relational database design, multidimensional database design, OLTP, OLAP, KPIs, Scorecards, and Dashboards
  • Ability to recommend architecture best practices related to ETL, ELT, BI, and the life-cycle of an EDW solution
Minimum Qualifications
  • BE/B- Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BSc/MSc
  • Effective communicate in writing and verbally to senior management.
  • Experience in balancing customer facing role and work assessments.
  • Self-starter and have analytical, problem solving skills
Preferred qualifications
  • Good to have MS Excel whiz skills - Power Query, Power View, Power Pivot
Strong analytical and customer service skills
  • Healthcare & Life Sciences industry experience a plus
  • Good people and customer handling skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skill.
