Job Description

*Legal technical compliance competence at MBRDI for Passenger Cars(PC) and Commercial Vehicle(CV)- Scope of responsibility: regulatory prevention and regulatory relevant processes in the context of Safety, Certification, Emission and New Technologies(autonomous driving, data protection) at MBRDI- Legal & Compliance consultation to management and employees and support management in taking over responsibility for technical compliance- Provide advice in terms of product related legal inquiries and processes as well as legal consultation in the application of norms, requirements and standards, with focus on certification jurisdiction worldwide (based on scope of development order)- Provide legal expertise and advice on questions in the context of product development, in projects and co-operations- Provide guidance in legal grey areas (legal requirements and/or internal guidelines). Derive improvements for compliance program elements, processes and valuation models- Ongoing monitoring, analysis and assessment ofrelevant legal frameworks incl. current developments in legislation. Derive a legal assessment of risks, development of methods, processes and systems as well as guidelines and legal advisory opinions- Create a problem/risk awareness in non-legal business units- Be part of the MBRDI local clearing team and involve in assessment of the clearing cases in coordination with MBRDI tCMS R & D team, clearing team and clearing teams in Germany- Actively engage and work with with cross-divisional tCMS Clearing team(various legal entities of Daimler-PC & CV), providing legal expertise and take legal position on technically driven questions regarding regulatory conformity- Ongoing (legal) assessment and target oriented development of the Compliance- und Ethics program, with focus on Research & Development units.- Support development of technical Compliance Management Systems in order to avoid liability and reputational risks- External, cross-divisional and cross-border collaboration- Close coordination/cooperation with IL/PMR and RD/T functions as well as with relevant local Technical/Regulatory functions, Head and Team of IL India, MBRDI Management and Governance bodies, Certification department at HQ.- Actively engage with cross-divisional tCMS Clearing team(various legal entities of Daimler-PC & CV) and build up an efficient working systemDrive external legal advice/expertise if required, *The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating internal and client-facing projects in close partnership with the internal stakeholders and customers. The PM will develop process improvement initiatives and use project management methodologies to assist team to find efficiencies in the way they organize and perform their work. The PM will also help create and manage budgets, and keep track of the same.Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross discipline team members to make sure that all are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Work with team leaders on development of project plans, budgets, timelines and documentation of clearly-defined scopes and assumptions
  • Well versed with ERP systems and have complete oversight of ERP
  • Overseeing day-to-day translation projects, serving as primary contact between customers and team members
  • Analysing case information and requirement, and deciding upon approach
  • Quality assurance checking of translations
  • Identify and execute internal process improvement projects
  • Assist in the development of project management tools, resources and technologies, including software, templates, checklists, databases (including knowledge databases) and forms
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, policies, and procedures for customers project
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Bachelors Degree or higher in appropriate field of study or equivalent work;
  • Professional proficiency in German language;
  • Proficiency in Adobe tools and MS office; demonstrably advanced computer and database technology skills required;
  • Demonstrably impeccable organization, writing and communication skills required;
  • Ability to be a proactive, self-starter, who understands the details within a much larger context and has ability to take pragmatic approach to the task;
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator;
