Build your career with us and apply today.Job Title: Associate Client Investment Officer Overview of the Role The Outsourced Client Investment Office (OCIO) is a part of NTAM Multi-Manager Business. This role supports all aspects of investment programs for our clients including but not limited to Portfolio Construction, Manager Selection, Client reporting, Trading and monitoring. These services are provided for discretionary and advisory mandates across the three client segments Retirement, Not for Profit and Global family office.The role requires working closely with the ACIOs and Sr.ACIOs locally and onshore in the management of client programs and provide client servicing support as necessary. Responsible for reporting, monitoring results and reviewing Client Portfolios and work to identify issues based on basic understanding of Client Investment Programs. Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare standard monthly and quarterly reports for OCIO clients
  2. Review client portfolios and work to identify issues based upon a basic understanding of client investment programs
  3. Coordinate with Performance teams and review client investment performance monthly and quarterly for accuracy, completeness and timeliness
  4. Reconcile Performance tree to CORE and work with ACIOs to ensure all investments are on CORE tool
  5. Responsible for preparation of reports comprising Performance analysis, Contribution and Attribution analysis, Custom client reporting with the ability to analyze and interpret large amount of data
  6. Coordinate with different partner teams to ensure the client programs are up-to-date and reflect accurate Manager changes, Portfolio Allocation and Benchmark Weights
  7. Verify data accurately, complete all client deliverables in a timely manner while accommodating any unique/ ad-hoc client requirements or requests
  8. Facilitate the end to end implementation of Client Investment Programs coordinating with various internal and external teams
  9. Assist in research and analysis of one-off requests from clients
  10. Ensures client and process procedures are maintained and updated on a regular basis
  11. Stay up-to-date of the Economic and Business developments surrounding Clients and the Business
  12. As subject matter expert, provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and advise to the team and other partner areas at a highly technical level backed by Industry/Business knowledge
  13. Incorporate client requirements and requests in reporting, ensure effective delivery of the same
  14. Work with internal partners to respond to client needs/requests
Skills and Experience
  1. Excellent Oral and Written communication skills
  2. Proven Analytical and Problem solving skills
  3. Knowledge of Investment Performance and Risk calculation with exposure to returns based, positions based and risk analysis software is highly recommended
  4. Good Knowledge of Investments, Financial Markets and Asset Management business with a good understanding of various Asset classes and Investment styles Equity, Fixed income, Alternatives, Multi Assets, Active and Passive Investments, Liability Driven Investments, DB and DC plans etc.
  5. Advanced Knowledge in MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools are required. VBA knowledge, Bloomberg, FactSet and other industry tools would be an added advantage
  6. Knowledge of commonly used Northern Trust Accounting and Performance systems like PACE, IIP, Data Direct, Integrated reporting, Morningstar, Wilshire, Barra one etc. will be preferred
  7. Attention to details, commitment to deadlines and ability to adapt to change is required
  8. Expected to operate independently and have in-depth Industry and Business unit knowledge
  9. 2+ years of relevant experience
  10. A University degree or Certified/ pursuing CFA/FRM/CIPM is a plus
