Job Description

    Automation Engineer - PythonRole & ResponsibilitiesYou should be able to work independently with little supervisionYou should have excellent organization and problem-solving skillsDevelop high-quality software design and architectureYour goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycleDevelop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient codeAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingReview and debug codePerform validation and verification testingCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve productsDocument development phases and monitor systemsEnsure software is up to date with latest technologiesGood communication skills.SkillsetB.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.Must have 2-4 years experience in Python development.Strong understanding of Object Oriented ProgrammingSound understanding of the design patternsExperience automating command line utilities, data dumps, webhook scripting etc.Excellent grasp of data structures and designing and developing REST APIs.Excellent understanding of the Linux operating system - user and process management, file systems, network etc.Experience setting up the desktop and server applications on Linux OSExperience setting up distributed systems using DevOps toolsGood skills of either RDBMS (e.g. MySQL or PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB or equivalent).Sound understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and ability to participate in local and remote Sprints.Experience in GIT, Maven, Jenkins or such build automation tools is a plus
