Job Description

Compulsory Requirements: 1 The technician will report to the Engineer/Supervisor who will assign to handle the Projects which includes complete cabling, wiring, terminations, installation & commissioning, capable of understanding AUTOCAD Drawings & should have good knowledge in AV, Electrical & Networking Installations 2 Should have basic knowledge in configuring/setting up all systems as given below in subsections of Audio, Video and Lighting 3 Knowledge of troubleshooting problems Audio: Speaker systems and Amps, Biamp methods, Triamp methods Audio Mixers, FOH, Monitor consoles (Knowledge in 4 Aux, 8 bus, matrix configuration, inserts, routing) Mics: All types and kinds methods of operation, Conference Mic systems Effect processors: compressors, Delays, limiters, feedback eliminators Video: Vision Mixers Projection systems: Front, Rear, ceiling, with VGA, DVI, RGBHV connections Video systems and formats: VHS, Beta, S VHS, DVD, DVCAM, DV Switchers/Scalers/Converters: Data /Video switchers and scalers, Matrix SwitchesSeamless switchers, scan converters. RGBHV switchers Lighting: Experience in any Intelligent Lighting Desk or a Scan Commander and experience in Programming Moving Light Fixtures Knowledge of Generic and Intelligent Lighting Networking: Basic knowledge on termination of network cables Good communication (written & spoken), logical and analytical thinking, installation & VC system integration skills, Time bound Management. Requirements Analysis, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Understanding of CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design
