Job Description

About the AWM Change Mobilization:The AWM Ops Change Mobilization team partners with Operations, Technology and Business leadership to take the best of what we do, within and across LOBs, and drive deliberate cross-pollination across AWM Operations teams, promoting global process consistency and standards. We focus on evolving the organization s capabilities to move from lower to higher-value added tasks, and creating agile processes, teams and infrastructure that enable differentiated client experiences and outcomes. We follow a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify opportunities and employ co-design principles to create effective, scalable, well controlled solutions. Those solutions seek to differentially equip our people and support their development as Operations professionals of the future. We serve the broader organization and maintain a service-oriented attitude in all that we do.Summary of Role:Business Process and Decision Management COE is focused on establishing and rolling out process and decision modelling and automation capabilities for Asset and Wealth Management. In addition to establishing these capabilities, the COE also drives value through implementation of high value initiatives that focus on the automation of business processes and decisions. As a part of extending the automation capability, the team is looking to introduce low code workflow automation capability as part of its offering. This opportunity is for a leader in the space of low code automation to establish and drive the low code strategy and agenda for the team. In this role, you will provide thought leadership and direction to establish the capability and, build / manage a portfolio of high value engagements using the capability. This role will provide a unique opportunity to establish and drive a techno-functional team in collaboration with our technology partners across Asset and Wealth Management. ResponsibilitiesDrive execution low code automation strategy: As a key member in the low code automation practice, you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive strategy to introduce and mature the low code automation capability across Asset and Wealth ManagementCapability building and product management: You will drive and participate in the development and rollout of the Low Code Workflow Automation capability across Asset and Wealth Management. This includes driving tool selection, product strategy, developing methodology, standards, governance models, and other aspects of rolling out the capability.Lead and Execute High Value Automation Engagements: As an experienced Low Code Workflow Automation specialist, you will lead critical projects and team resources to reengineer and, automate processes and workflows in partnership with Technology and business users. You will also be responsible for managing key stakeholders across each engagement you are driving. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and drive all aspects of low code automation engagements including requirement gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment and continuous improvement
  • Drive the development, roll out and product management of low code workflow automation capability
  • Help implement the low code automation development strategy across Asset and Wealth Management
  • Manage and track deliverables, and provide status reports as required by management
  • Work with technology to create required infrastructure to support the capability of low code automation
  • Partner with data and technology teams to identify and develop reusable assets for data sourcing and other micro services
  • Drive training courses and curriculum around low code workflow automation
  • Identify and raise potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues to the team
  • Interact with other high-performing teams within JPM to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank
  • Continually look for opportunities to support the team s service offering with a focus on repeatable, scalable, exportable practices and tools
Experience
  • 5+ years of combined years of experience in space of business process management, process design, re-engineering, automation, technology consulting, and digital transformation capabilities
  • 2+ years of experience working across low code automation capabilities and a deep understating of low code implementation lifecycle
  • Expertise and proved track record of delivering business value using low code automation platforms like Pega Low Code, Appian, Mendix, Outsystems, Unqork, ServiceNow Low Code, etc.; certifications are a plus
  • Ability to develop client relationships, and to leverage those relationships to identify automation opportunities
  • Expertise in building, managing and delivering portfolio of automation initiatives with measurable impact
  • Strong experience on SDLC and Agile development framework through practice
  • Knowledge on model driven development capabilities using BPMN, CMMN, DMN are strongly desired
  • Proven record of using process mapping and improvement techniques to improve processes
  • Experience in process improvement and process re-engineering frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma. Yellow Belt or higher is a plus
  • Ability to hold and independently drive stakeholder and working group conversations on projects
  • Understanding of core concepts of data analysis, ETL, and management e.g. KPIs, KRIs, KGIs etc.
  • Technical background in workflow automation, application development is recommended, however, not mandatory
  • Consulting or working experience within capital markets and financial services domain will be a plus
