Job Description

    BI Developer Job Family Definition: In this the role, the candidate will require to work and excel in following areas
    • Conceptualize, design and develop BI solution in line with Business requirements, working closely with Project manager deciding on technology as required
    • Responsible for working closely with project manager and other team members to perform Testing of the newly developed solution (functionality, usability & DQ)
    • Work closely with business users to define their requirements
    • Capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose a solution in MS BI technologies
    • Create, execute and document test cases and results
    • Prepare process documentation for all processes
    • Have flexibility to work across time zones and diverse cultures as role involves extensive interaction with customers internationally.
    • Good verbal & written communication skills to interact with the relevant stakeholders
    • Flexibility to work across time zones and diverse cultures and across different technologies.
    5 years experience in .Net Skills
    • Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining application code in a variety of contexts including existing applications
    • Design documents Cross-training and mentoring Providing accurate estimates and meeting your scheduled commitments Primarily acts as a multiplier by building systems, authoring tools
    • Maintaining, tuning, and repairing applications; providing user support
    • Working on writing T-SQL scripts to configure the UI of the application and developing new configurations using Metadata-Driven development approach
    • Working knowledge of data mapping, extraction, data migration, decision support systems, data marts/data warehousing and relational and dimensional modeling
    • Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents the developed solutions
    • Apply development best practices as test-driven development (TDD) techniques and integration tests for all developed software
    • Proficient in C# with a good knowledge of its ecosystem
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts to non-IT professionals
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JQueryUI, Google Chat, MS Chart & Closed Xml
    • Ability to understand and code against a schema with highly normalized tables
    • C# developer with strong .NET knowledge (or highly skilled in other object-oriented languages)
