Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our Bangalore office. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for Chainalytics services in the Indian and APAC regions.

You will work closely with Chainalytics APAC leadership to develop new business and establish relationships with new clients. You ll need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, high customer centricity, work prioritization skills and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES

Inside Sales for New business opportunities

  • Market assessment and identification to identify sectors, firms and opportunities to pursue
  • Outbound communication to target audience (email or presentation or verbal pitch) and secure meetings with Chainalytics sales leaders
  • Stay informed of market/industry/prospect news and events to identify business opportunities
  • Build business relationships with current / potential clients

Sales support

  • Ownership of sales collateral specific to industry or geography these include case studies, services related material etc.
  • Support sales pursuit on project requirements identification, proposal making and prospect engagement
  • Maintain sales pipeline information using CRM software

Marketing

  • Ideate and execute BD campaigns (with industry councils, research firms etc)
  • Ownership of offline and online marketing events/campaigns for India and APAC

SKILLS

  • Impeccable integrity, passion for supply chain consulting, creative, and energetic
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Communication
    • Excellent verbal communication to call, establish connect and interact with potential customers
    • Strong writing skills to write in a clear and concise manner
  • Energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour. Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Computer skills
    • Strong MS PPT Excel skills
    • Preferred - knowledge of other CRM/Salesforce tools
  • EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

    Inside Sales ( min. 3 years )

    • Demonstrated and proven results for new business development in management consulting industry
    • Performed outbound sales and knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
    • Craft industry specific verbal and emailer pitches for initial communications with prospects
    • Disciplined and strong work ethic to ensure prospect connects are performed regularly and as per committed/requested timelines, including the initial connects, follow-ups, information sharing and scheduling meetings.
    • Business development in the India and APAC markets especially for (but not limited to) large enterprises in the FMCG, Retail, Pharmaceuticals/Chemicals, Logistics, Consumer Durables, Automobiles, Tyres sectors.

    Industry experience

    • Exposure to supply chain management services space and understanding of the different service areas therein
    • Experience working in the Management Consulting industry

    Education

    • Bachelor s degree
    • MBA in Marketing/Operations/Supply Chain Management
