Job Description

    Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams and Alliance partners to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize processes and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.Responsibilities:
    • Calculate Use Fees/Royalty payments for external HPE partners by interpreting and analysis of obligation data in line with agreement. Using analytics to influence multiple departments, increasing their productivity and effectiveness to achieve strategic goals.
    • Will cross-reference HPE obligation data, i.e., shipment, support services obligation data (using i.e., SAP, PowerBI, converting to Excel) to the Partner provided data, incorporating into the obligation data.
    • Will present obligation and other relevant data to Supplier/ Partner on a monthly or quarterly basis in Partner reports, reconcile until approved, trigger payment with Finance, send Entitlement Report, obtain Supplier s bid file for the period of the obligation data.
    • Respond and help reconcile questions on Supplier/ Partner report details.
    • Will incorporate obligation data and Supplier s bid file into Blanket Purchase Order Purchase Requisition in Procurement tool (Ariba), follow it until approved/released, and ensure supplier receives.
    • Follow invoice through approval and successful payments, reconciliations as needed.
    • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions across WW teams.
    • Own/lead statistical/quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions and disseminate findings to key stake holders and/or senior management.
    • Defines the metrics required to measure business performance, and compares actual data to forecasted values.
    • Works with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement, authorization processes, and escalates issues as necessary. Makes contributions to research and analyses on priority projects within established guidelines.
    • Lead meetings with finance team, HPE Pointnext program/ product managers on process improvements and cascading any escalations. Support improvement initiatives and governance.
    • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that help shape business roadmap. Analyse reports and provide metrics, work on improvements.
    Education and Experience Required:
    • Typically, 4-6 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
    • First level university degree required as a minimum.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage big data requests
    • Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills including Advanced Excel and SAP data reporting extracts

    Technical skills:
    • Very strong knowledge of advanced MS Excel with ability to automate manual jobs and tasks within the process.
    • Strong knowledge of SQL Query Scripting, ETL process (Preferably MSBI Suite) to perform data extraction and integration from multiple data warehouse systems.
    • Sound Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access database management system.
    • Hands-on experience on metrics development, visualization tools like Power BI, Qliksense, PowerPoint etc.
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis, financial modelling with large datasets.
    • Intermediate skills in MS SharePoint is an advantage.
