Firm Risk Management (FRM) Market Risk (MR) MR may cause firms and investors to incur losses, and subject firms to legal, regulatory and reputational risks. These risks posed by various BAU and/or unauthorized activities are a continuous concern to financial institutions and regulators. FRM is primarily responsible for providing a suite of tools and frameworks for calculating risk measures, calculating regulatory capital charges, analyzing data, scenario and impact analysis for stress testing and regulatory reporting. Regulators, including the SEC, FINRA, EBA, ESMA, FCA (UK), PRA (UK) and FINMA, have published guidelines, rules, recommendations, and circulars to support financial institutions in building resilient internal control systems in order to address business and reputational risks as well as regulatory exposure resulting from market/operational risks. FRM needs to constantly update its current suite of risk management tools, frameworks and processes or build new ones in order to adhere to the constantly changing regulatory landscape. Project requirement: Market Risk suite of tooling Market Risk has a number of Web and .NET based UI applications currently supporting a wide range of users. These applications are constantly in need of support and enhancements to help support the new requirements. The primary responsibilities include the following but not limited to: - Maintaining and supporting developed application(s). - Mainly developing fronted solutions with focus on performance and optimization - Working with remote teams - other IT teams, BA, QA, Ops etc. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to design, implement, enhance, and support various aspects of the system, including key new deliverables. The position provides potential exposure to the whole breadth of Firm Risk Management. The position will involve understanding the requirements, design/development of UI work. Project work will span all phases of development from user interaction and requirements gathering to design and coding to performance testing, rollouts and some production support. We are looking a motivated self-starter who is also able to contribute and collaborate in a group setting., *Job Responsibilities Design, development and maintenance of suite of Risk Management Applications in an Agile/DevOps environment Work with product owners and other squads in driving system requirements, integration requirements and provide technical recommendations in an Agile Development environment Unit testing, Integration testing, and Deployment of Components/Applications to Production Collaborate with other developers across regions in completing project deliverables. Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with high quality standards Skills/Expertise Strong expertise, 10+ years in designing and developing web-applications Strong expertise 10+ years in JavaScript frameworks such as ExtJS/AngularJS/HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and C# .NET Experienced with RESTful Web Services/SOA architectures Experienced in utilizing standard design patterns Strong technical analysis and problem solving skills Experienced in automated testing using BDD and/or TDD Good communication skills Self-motivated individual and a Team leader
