*Morgan Stanley is seeking skilled technical developer with strong C# and WPF experience to join our Trading Risk Control Limits team. Team is responsible for managing risk management applications across equity and fixed income business units.About Trading Risk Controls: We are important parts of various trading systems of Morgan Stanley, functioning as risk controls and/or regulatory checking before an order flows into the exchange. Our software performs many underlying functions: high performance networking, messaging, persistence, recovery, state machines, operating system integration, compilers, and automated testing frameworks. Our clients are the trading risk managers in the business departments, while our partners are other trading order manager systems in the organization, so we are not only technologically focused but also facing understanding and analyzing the business requirements. Our platform of choice is Linux RedHat, C/C++, kdb and Java for the server side processes/libraries, C# and Angular for our trade monitoring UIs and Python for our testing frameworks.Qualifications - InternalRoles and Responsibilities: The candidate will: * Interact with users directly to understanding business requirement challenges and provide technical solutions. * Develop and maintain TRC UI stack using C#.Net, WPF, Java services. * Provide technical leadership via code review and team discussion to carry out best software development practice. * Influence future directions of GUI solutions for the TRC group, working with GUI development leads in other regions as well as TRC senior management * Work closely and collaborate with other members of TRC in New York, London, India, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. * Provide Level3 support, *Qualifications - 6+ years experience in C#.Net, WPF, Multithreading, Design Patterns - Experience in building and debugging performance critical applications and distributed platforms. - Experience in memory and performance profiling of WPF applications. - Architecture & Attention to detail. Should be able to convert functional requirements into detailed technical designs - Good communication skills and experience in working with Distributed teams Desired Skills - Experience of REST API creation and consumption using C#- Basic unix commands - Equity financial product knowledge and financial domain exposure.
