Job Description

    The Records Management Project Manager will partner with key stakeholders across the Asset and Wealth Management business and technology organizations to execute strategies to ensure appropriate management of Records in structured and unstructured repositories . Additionally, the Records Management Project Manager will collaborate with the broader AWM data management team, the firmwide Records Management Program (CRMP), and Global Data Risk Management (GDRM/Compliance) to deliver records management solutions in line with firm expectations and requirements.Key Responsibilities:
    • Partner on the strategy, vision and goals for LOB Records Management Structured Data program
    • Lead the Applications retention and classification efforts and serve as primary liaison to key stakeholders spanning AWM business, AWM technology, Firmwide Technology and Firmwide Data assurance
    • Manage successful execution of multi-year program targets communicated to senior leadership and regulators
    • Identify reusable approaches to remediating records ad defining ongoing sustainable processes
    • Partner with Technology and CDO stakeholders to develop and govern Structured Data tooling and training
    • Develop subject matter expertise in records management (firmwide retention requirements, firmwide tools, AWM record types, repositories) and Structured Data lifecycle (technology governance and control framework, Data Modernization, product ownership model)
    • Understand, develop and analyze metrics related to applications and their records partner with other members of the AWM CDO to identify trends, risks and opportunities spanning all AWM data stores
    • Represent AWM in LOB and firmwide records forums; author and present executive leadership summaries, presentations and/or management reporting
    • Maintain strong network of key stakeholders including AWM Lines of Business, Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Firmwide Records Management Program, Peer LOB Leaders
    • Serve as a key point of escalation for both Line of Business and firmwide program - liaise with partners to resolve issues where required
    • Facilitate LOB compliance with the requirements of Data Risk Management Policy/Standard/Procedure related to identification, classification, storage, retention and destruction of information (records)
    • Partner with stakeholders and Controls Management to ensure appropriate control environment and manage/advise on escalated issues
    • Solicit input from business constituents and achieve long-term strategic solutions for business partners
    Required Qualifications, skills and capabilities:
    • 5-7 years of experience in Data Governance, Project Management, or Business Management functions
    • Excellent management and delivery skills; appropriately escalates issues
    • Strong interpersonal leadership, partnership and influencing skills ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like manner and achieve goals without direct control over resources
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly define and deconstruct problems leveraging strong analytical and end-to-end problem solving skills.
    • Takes accountability for completing deliverables and enjoys owning tasks and jumping in to deliver
    • Strong data analytics tools and experience
    • Very detail oriented and able to consolidate detail and impact to a higher level
    • Independent, organized, self-motivated and a team player
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively; be proactive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Adaptable to work in an evolving and changeable environment.
    • Advanced skills with the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Advanced skills with standard PM tools (e.g. MS Project); Familiarity with process-mapping tools (e.g. MS Visio, etc.)
