Job Description

    Key Roles and Responsibilities
    • Gather, document and develop the waterfall requirements for private equity and hybrid funds based on the fund governing documents, agreements, and interpretations of key financial terms, while working closely with client executives and client general counsel.
    • Build carried interest/incentive fee financial models based on the waterfall requirements to facilitate the Fund Accounting teams in servicing clients.
    • Maintain continuous alignment of waterfall development project plan objectives to the client s requirements and modify the project plan to enhance effectiveness of the waterfall development process as necessary.
    • Enhance and maintain effective communication with key engagement partners, including JPMorgan internal Sales, Product, Operations, Tax, and Technology partners.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Private equity waterfall modeling experience is preferred
    • Bachelor s Degree in Finance/Business/Accounting / Mathematics. Degree in Computer Science or similar technical background will also be considered.
    • 2+ years of Financial Services Industry or equivalent experience
    • 0-2 years minimum private equity experience
    • Client service experience is required
    • Self-motivated with high degree of professionalism
    • Willingness to learn and open to new challenges is a must
    • Strong understanding of key financial terms in private equity fund agreements
    • Solid prioritization and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Proven ability to successfully plan, lead, and execute complex engagements while influencing many different groups and individuals to deliver high quality and timely deliverables
    • Team player who enjoys working in a high performing culture and is open to evolving and changing priorities
    • Ability to work closely with others to troubleshoot issues and remediate accounting data Intermediate Excel skills
    • Cascade Suite experience a huge plus
    • Investran knowledge a plus
    • VBA programming knowledge, SQL knowledge, and experience with Visio a plus
    • CPA/CFA or working towards the designation a plus
    The role is based in Bangalore but will involve interaction with J.P. Morgan teams across the globe.Shift timing: - 1:30 Pm to 10:30 Pm IST,
