Job Description

The Wholesale KYC Operations Strategy & Change Organization is responsible for control and oversight of the WKO Change Management process for WKO Operations and WKO Quality Assurance. The WKO Strategy & Change team is responsible for the delivery of the Strategic End State Programs that are firm wide turnkey initiatives invested in Data driven Transformation & Regulatory deliverables.The WKO Strategy & Change Team is looking for a Associate level candidate who will be part of a high performing team of Data Management professionals focused on delivering innovative data management solutions to KYC LOB stakeholders. The Strategic Data Management Program Role is focused on ensuring that data sourced, is fit-for-purpose through a suite of data quality analysis & reporting, analytics and data distribution solutions; and every data set / product feature is tested in a robust manner before implementation to production. Key Responsibilities would include:-
• Collaborate with the LOB, Consumers, Compliance, and Technology to perform root cause analysis and develop the strategic remediation path for existing data quality issues for data being sourced into and consumed from the KYC Analytics Platform.
• Quickly assimilate systems, data to help generate summary/detailed level diagnosis. This includes understanding the end to end process and controls.
• Coordinate with LOB Business Leads, Reference Data Domain Leads and Functional Domain SME s to understand data capabilities, current state solutions and assess the ability to deliver a strategic platform
• Act as a subject matter expert around KYC Data Quality issues and assisting various teams with adhoc requests.
• Document processes and procedures for resolution and coordinate the hand over to the KYCS & LOB Operations team when required.
• Deliver strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
• Define various Data metrics for different LOBs and relevant data sources
• Select, configure and implement analytics solutions
• Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, IT, customer feedback)
• Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
• Gathering, modeling and analyzing data to test hypothesis and size opportunities.
• Building technology solutions to aggregate data and develop metrics
• Applying institutional knowledge from the KYC Operations and Reference Data industry.
• Monitor progress against project plans until completion and delivery
• Provide regular status updates to management; develop presentations and materials
• Compile executive summary documents for assigned data quality issues
Qualification
• A bachelor s degree or equivalent is required; Qualification in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
• 4-6 years experience a Data Analyst. Business Analysis experience required, with particular focus in the Data Analytics / Data Management space highly preferred.
• Must have implemented Data Quality Frameworks & overall issue management around Data quality.
• Excellent understanding of Data Management functions (Data Lineage, Data Taxonomy, Data Governance).
• Experience of developing automated Data solutions for analysis and reporting.
• Highly energetic self-starter with a focus on obtaining results
• Strong analytical / critical thinking and problem solving skills; able to develop and clearly present drawn conclusions & potential solutions with consideration to inherent risks
• Structuring and scoping complex problems, applying a range of analytical tools, gaining and synthesizing insights and developing solutions;
• Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including synthesizing key messages for senior management
• Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
• Capability to work both independently with strong follow through and adapt to team environment
• Aptitude to think outside the box and balance strategic objectives with the need to make interim tactical choices in order to sustain progress
• Subject Matter Expertise across KYC, AML & Client Reference Data is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office suite of products (Excel, VISIO, PowerPoint)
