Job Description

  • Responsible for all stages of design and development for cloud application and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Must minimum 8 years of IT industry experience, with a BE/ME in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent stream with solid grasp of software engineering concepts, including
    • Distributed computing
    • Cloud computing paradigms
    • Object-oriented design
  • Multi-year experience in Developing and implementing cloud applications
  • Proven record of developing and releasing cloud applications in production environment.
  • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or Private Cloud exposure specifically in Kubernetes applications
  • Knowledge of RDBMS (Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Elastic Search, etc.) persistence stack
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native Platform - Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Experience in designing cloud applications using distributed cache and experience of using Redis and similar products.
  • Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and distributed streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • Ability to deploy various techniques to scale an application in a cloud environment.
  • Work with Product Marketing to understand requirements and translate those into design and implementation.
  • Demonstrated abilities to work with QA and Remote Teams.
  • Extensive experience in CI/CD and automation
  • Experience in working with Agile Methodology.
  • Multi-year experience with Python, Golang, and Java
  • Understanding of, DB Applications (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle.etc), VMware/HyperV virtualization eco-system, Storage Clustering & Backup Software (ISVs) is an added advantage.
