Job Description

The Cloud FinOps Practitioner oversees the Cloud budget and responsible for optimization of the Cloud. Supporting the AWM finops team you will be responsible for the success of our FinOps OKR. You will interact regularly with the cloud engineering, finance, business managers, global technology and developers. You will make recommendations to cloud account owners on cloud efficienciesResponsibilities

  • Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud
  • Engage regularly finance, business managers and finops leads to continue with firm finops strategies
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions to help product teams are making the most cost-efficient choices
  • Analyze customer business objectives and use our platform to build insightful reporting
  • Work closely with product teams and portfolio management to guide them on their cloud adoption
  • Leverage knowledge of your customers environments to assist the finance team in resolving issues
  • Perform analysis, create decks and present regular operational reviews to leadership
  • Be the voice of the cloud engineering team and their champion advocating for financial acumen and effective cloud resource management with our organization
  • Contribute educational content, blog posts, and tutorials to help customers derive more value from cloud .
Job Qualifications
  • Demonstrated public cloud knowledge and experience (AWS, Azure, GCP):
  • MANDATORY- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification)AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and FOCP finops cloud practitioner
  • Proven experience navigating complex data sets and pull out insights using SQL or similar tools
  • Deep passion for cloud technology and ability to articulate the cloud value proposition in both technical and financial aspects
  • Skilled at building relationships with customers and co-workers
  • Persistent, tenacious and ability to navigate challenging customer situations constantly finding opportunities to drive customer value
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts
  • Ability to dive deep and earn the trust of customers through demonstrated experience
  • Thrive in a start-up culture with minimal oversight always looking for opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
