The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for integrating business, data, and technology architecture to create End to End Azure / Snowflake Data Lake solutioning:-1) Ingestion mechanism from SAP sources (ECC, HANA, BW, IBP, CRM. TPM), Non-SAP Sources (SQL Servers, Flat files) and External sources (Point of Sale Nielsen, IRI, RSI, Spin, Retailer PoS etc.).2) Designing & building complex harmonization rules across data sets like (MD, Sales, Finance, Trade) and mapping external PoS data with internal Customers / Products.3) Designing and Building Unified Data Model that can be scaled to additional business functions / markets.4) Integration with Playbooks / Reports & architecting Self Service capabilities5) Integrating Data Quality checks, Data Lineage & Data Dictionary using CollibraThis role will work in partnership with K-C North America s RGM business team, Sell-out data SMEs, IT-business partners, IT-Business Analysts and IT-Solution Architects and ensure all barriers and roadblocks to implement and facilitate the data lake implementation are removed, along with the RGM Playbooks.It will also have added responsibility to help with data related inputs for advance analytics capabilities, AI/ML and more importantly, implemented Data Governance processes and best practices within RGM DomainThis role is viewed as an expert in complex cloud analytical and application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Has strong knowledge in using data and analytics to drive business and technical functions. Scope/Categories The role will report to Associate Director RGM / TPM / Data Lake. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Consultants, Business Client, Data & Analytics team, Platform team, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.The role has a close partnership with the Enterprise Application, IT Sales Business Partners and the Global Sales Council to deliver the best products and solutions for KC North America Key Qualifications and Experiences
• 3-4 years of experience as Cloud Solution Architect
• 10 years of Solution Architect experience with Data Modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics & Data Governance projects. This includes designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Azure & Snowflake Cloud DW. Knowledge about other technologies such as SAP HANA, SAP BODS, SAP ECC, SAP BW & SQL Servers is preferable as all these exist in K-C s environment as sources
• Expertise in Snowflake - Data Modelling is a must (atleast 1 end to end project using Snowflake is a must)
• Experience in ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures with JAVA and standard DWH and ETL concepts
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe. Knowledge with Big Data model techniques using Python, R is preferable
• Develop and maintain processes to acquire, analyze, store and cleanse and transform large datasets using tools like Microsoft Azure - Azure Data Factory & Spark, SnowSQL
• Experienced in designing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex data warehouse cloud platforms Saas Snowflake
• Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
• Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing, events and lake-house patterns
• Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS, Azure Blob to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
• Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, Caching methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)
• Experience with data security and data access controls and design for Cloud analytics project
• Deploy Snowflake following best practices, and provide subject matter expertise in data warehousing, specifically with Snowflake
• Collaborates with other Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions across K-C s application landscape.
• Self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and disseminating information across the organization.
• Has strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges
• Strong technical leadership in delivery teams and partnerships with vendors. Experience delivering IT projects and/or programs with strong SDLC understanding, including Agile / Waterfall methodologies
• Understands how to coordinate the flow of work between agile teams and more traditional project-based teams
• Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources
• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines.
