• Work with IOTG DSE architect and US based infrastructure team to design, build, support, and maintain IOTG DSE DevCloud site
  • Image, configure, and maintain servers for IOTG DSE Development and Quality Assurance teams as well as production use.
  • Includes making adjustments to support evolving requirements
• Ensure all systems within scope have as up to date as possible firmware and software versions
Requirements
• Strong sense of urgency with ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced, innovative, technology centric environment, preferably in a distributed datacenter environment.
• Strong understanding of fundamental IT technologies and operations to enable efficient, secure, and robust digital communications
• Ability to build and maintain systems through a command line interface and scripting automation
• Documenting and validating working processes as its being executed
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience with Enterprise/carrier-class firewalls, routers, and switches
• 3+ years experience with load-balancers, core network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.), and webservers
• 3+ years experience with Git version control and automation routines; some standard CI/CD toolset
• 3+ years experience automating network and Linux system operations through scripting or coding
• 3+ years experience building and maintaining systems through a command line interface
• 2-years experience with Unix/Linux administration and with scripting/coding
• Operational experience with enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches
• Experience in TCP/IP fundamentals and commonly used routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls, network switches, webservers, load-balancers, and core network services (DNS, DHCP, Network Storage, etc.)
• Experience in commonly used routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS)
• Experience in TCP/IP, GRE, IPSec, POS, PPP, VRRP, IGMP, HSRP, and SNMP protocols
• Managing Red Hat Linux servers and/or networks including KVM, Cluster Management tools, and Out of Band manageability
• Experience with cloud and container technologies; Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or OpenShift (preferred)
• Experience with Monitoring tools (ELK stack, Splunk)
• Domain knowledge in Cloud application integration and technologies
