Job Description

    Ensure pre-commissioning and commissioning phases carried out at the plant site and the plant can perform according to the contractual requirements and respecting the planned and agreed timings.Office-based preparation workAnalyse all the technical and contractual documentation relating to the Plant Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Performance Test phases.- Issue and/or Check the precommissioing/commissioning, start-up and Performance Tests procedures in coordination with the Engineering department as it may be required.- Draw up the operating manual for the plant, as well as the operating procedures inherent to the commissioning and start-up, preparing the equipment & machinery checklist.- Verify the correctness of the documents drawn up by the suppliers included in the Mechanical and Instrumentation Handbook.- Verify the instruments/motors/equipment data sheets together with the CCS/E&I, adding comments to the examined documents.- Define, in collaboration with the departments concerned, the schedule of pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, test run and handover for the plant.Field workOrganise, based on what is contractually defined, all the work for the start-up of the plant, going directly to the site.- Deliver training to all the operators present on site.- Coordinate the project team present on the site, as well as the mechanical and electro-instrumental supervisors, in order to execute the commissioning of the plant correctly.- Verify consistency between the business engineering documentation and the contractual obligations to be performed for the customer.- Supervise the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.- Manage the compilation of the plant documentation required to record the work carried out.- Coordinate, with the support of the other supervisors on site, and based on the progress of the commissioning time schedule, the involvement of the technical staff of machinery and/or packages suppliers.Draw up, with the support of the responsible head office departments, the Provisional Certificate Acceptance Test of the plant and all the pending lists.- Report, by means of the appropriate documentation, the inconsistencies found between engineering documents and what is actually verified and carried out on the ground.- Verify the progress of the commissioning schedule, informing head office of any discrepancies between the schedule and what is present at the plant.- Make sure that the plant functions correctly, ensuring the successive calibration phase so that everything is in line as defined for the test run.- Ensure that the plant acceptance is signed off by the Customer, thereby completing the CommissioningPost-start-up workEnsure, for approximately two years after the commissioning of the plant, on-site support to supervise the first signing and the subsequent power-up with the aim of verifying that there are no technical problems.- Formulate a list of possible Spare Parts for the plant, offering the list to the Customer and informing the responsible department that is in charge of making the relevant orders.- Offer the Customer, at a later time, new machines to subsequently replace those with the most wear in the plant.Interested candidates, please share your updated CV to hidden_email
