Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!We are Hiring forConsultant BI & VisualizationJob Overview: Consultants at AKIRA are responsible for building, implementing and supporting End-to-End solutions BI solutions as part of the larger team or as independent contributors, being intricately involved with our client stakeholders to design, model and execute. We also expect our Consultants to be agile to quickly learn new technologies and business domain knowledge and understanding with the respective stakeholders.Roles & Responsibilities
    • Problem-solving mindset and go-getter attitude to take forward the organization to the next level of growth and be a part of the journey
    • Liaison with multiple client stakeholders, understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions with the most appropriate analytic methodology to meet their needs
    • Aspire to act as project lead if required, perform project planning by effectively leveraging and managing work with the team members
    • Understanding the reporting and data visualization needs of business and converting them into storyboard
    • Feasibility assessment of implementing the requirement using available tools and technologies, suggest alternative tools and approaches wherever applicable
    • Develop data models/analytical datasets to feed BI reports and dashboards and build BI dashboards using tools like PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik etc.
    • Troubleshooting, Performance tuning of overall BI Solutions and ad-hoc issue resolution
    • Deployment of BI reports/dashboards, setup user access management groups and setup robust data pipeline to feed BI solutions
    EligibilityRequired Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor/Masters degree in a quantitative discipline is imperative (ex. engineering, statistics, economics, mathematics etc.)
    • 3.5-5 years experience in BI/Data Visualization consulting and delivery
    • Excellent communication skills and extensive internal/external client facing experience
    • Expertise in at least one of the following tools: Power BI, Tableau
    • Expertise in building data models using Star and Snowflake schema and performing ETL operations
    • Hands-on experience with writing SQL queries for data validation and data preparation.
    • Good to have experience on building custom visualization/extensions using D3JS or any other scripting language for Power BI/Qlik/Tableau
