Job Description

    MAJOR DUTIES This role would be appropriate to those with experience of developing reports & Dashboards within Power BI/Excel/PowerPoint and confident in modelling data. You will need to be passionate about data, have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and an eye for detail to deal with a vast array of reporting requirements from all areas of the business, Self-motivated, very proactive with ability to manage and follow up on multiple tasks simultaneously, The ability to manage multiple stakeholders & their expectations and capability to prioritise and manage workload, Have a passion for data visualisation and reporting technology, This role will support the senior reporting analyst in redefining how we build, train, democratise, govern, deploy & optimise our data in our current BI reporting suite of tools, This will mean working heavily with those that develop the data, as well as the FT analytics team; not to mention the front end business users and everyone else in between, Become the subject matter expert on the reporting tools, Opportunity to work with various stakeholders(Senior level) and define and govern the reporting framework and create consistency across the business by utilising the core definitions of key metrics & dimensions, Help deliver some basic training on key reporting tools & upgrades, Own the day-to-day relationship with report users, Own the Project dashboards & the governance around themKey Skills Experience in BI and Analytics related Projects Hands-on experience in MIS/Reporting, Dashboard development and modeling Ability to analyse the requirements and design the reporting framework covering various aspects. Coordinate with business users to thoroughly understand the business needs, report scope, and anticipated deliverable associated with the data/reporting requirements. Preparing Executive Summary Regular and On Demand Experience working with large and complex data set able to write simple queries to create calculated fields Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly efficient in problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Proven track record in BI project delivery. Good team skills Understanding of MI reporting tool kits (e.g. Tableau, MS Access) Must have hands-on-experience of Advanced Excel and PowerPoint. - Strong data interrogation and analysis skills through use of tools such as SQL and Excel. Having SQL knowledge would be advantage for this role. EXPERIENCE At least 3-5 years of working in MI/Reporting Team with substantial experience in handling complex reporting requirements Relevant industry: Financial Services, preferably Investment Banking Technology, Investment Management (in Projects)Additional Information,
