We are looking for people who share our passion for technology and our vision for global impact.As Cooker Operation Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising warehouse and dispatch departments by ensuring the section maintains and achieves high level of customer satisfaction by receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods as well as organizing and maintaining inventory and storage areas including managing subcontracted transporters team.Responsibility
    • Will be the supervisor in charge of both warehouse and dispatch operation, activities and function.
    • Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods including accurate filling and preparation and documentation.
    • To report to the line manager on all warehouse related issues.
    • To implement and manage processes that will deliver the HSE standards set by the group.
    • Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of all warehousing activities.
    • Managing, trucking and keeping accurate inventory records including all systems and physical movements to ensure there are no variances and stock losses.
    • Maintaining storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles to achieve world class warehousing best practice. Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
    • Organize, facilitate and manage stock take at regular intervals Ensure security of the warehouse environment and maintain access control ensuring 5S, housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
    • Will be responsible for the daily planning of distribution operations, work and execution of the days plan to achieve agreed targets.
    • The role will also perform daily allocation of work to dispatch staff including loaders, drivers and even warehouse staff.
    • The role will be responsible for inventory at the dispatch area and will ensure loading is accurately done as per the load manifests.
    • Ensure that all relevant procedures, SOPs and routines are followed and adhered to in line with the company policy, procedures and requirements.Any other tasks as required by your line manager.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related qualification.
    • Must be hands on, apt and experienced planner with highly developed coordination skills.
    • The ideal candidate must be a person of very high integrity and moral standings.
    • Must be able to solve problems very independently in a fast paced environment.
    • Attention to details with experience in management of operations in a high produce- to- stock organization.
    • Strong result and customer service orientation
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and flexible workloads with peaks/multitasking capability3-5 years managing inventory in a manufacturing environment
    • Good communication and time management
    • Should have worked at the level of a supervisor and managed a team.
    • ERP experience is an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of HSE/ISO procedures
    • Sense of urgency with good eye on details.
    • Must be able to prioritize work and deliver results in a fast paced business environment.
