Job Description

Who we are looking forYou will be part of the Enterprise Data Governance and Engineering (IBOR) team that is responsible for the optimization of processes and the integration of derived data used in designated operations, risk and investment management interfaces. You will help provide solutions and execute implementation of business requirements to ensure the readiness, integrity and quality of the data required in these interfaces to achieve client, business and regulatory needs. You are encouraged to work independently, to play a part/role in cross-functional initiatives and participate in ongoing projects. You will be a right fit if you have a combination of knowledge and/or experience in Investment Products and Data Strategy.   • Perform and monitor entity and security set-ups, pricing and characteristics production processes and ensure accurate and on-time delivery to other dependent internal units/functions
  • Ensure that the queries from various internal functions are addressed by fixing the pricing/setup issues
  • Acquiring clear understanding on the business model and work with teams like KYC, Trade/Portfolio Administration, Reconciliations etc.
  • Commit to the implementation and execution of daily data validation processes and quality controls
  • Collaborate with various internal business units and information technology teams in order to streamline and optimize existing and new business workflow and processes globally
  • Capture business requirements for the integration and improvement of new and existing processes
  • Seek managerial feedback and bring up issues in a timely manner to achieve risk excellence
  • Adhere to procedures in relation to all tasks
  • Identify process efficiencies in the course of their daily work and propose to line managers
What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role
  • Bachelor s degree required. Advanced degrees are an asset.
  • 2 years experience in the investment management industry, preferably in investment operations.
  • Ideal candidate would have strong expertise in Reconciliations/Performance Management/Trade Admin/Port. Admin/Market Data
  • Share responsibility with lead for accurate and timely responses for resolving inquiries
  • Deep understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Derivatives asset types is key
  • Working knowledge of Bloomberg, IDC, Portia
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills required
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access, VBA and SQL will be considered strong assets
  • Ability to work under pressure. Detail oriented and task driven.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple responsibilities to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Ability to network and build strong working relationships.
  • Shift: 3PM to 12AM IST. Need to be flexible to work with APAC and US stakeholders
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors/MBA in Finance degree preferred
