IVE is responsible for silicon validation of nearly every CPU/SoC product across both server and client segments.Content and Coverage Solutions (CCS) in IVE delivers leading edge tool solutions for validation of server and client CPUs/SoCs. Youll be joining a strong team with a clear vision of delivering Intels software validation tool solutions by using creativity and innovation.In this role youll:- Get great opportunities to lead a challenging software project, and design, develop and implement in C++- Work on variety of Intel segments and products as part of a multisite and global team- Focus on development of LLVM open source compiler-based system validation tool solution, to ensure the timely validation of RTL and Silicon with quality in both pre- and post-silicon phases- Work with internal validation customers using our solutions to validate next-gen SoCs on both OS and bare-metal systems- Have opportunities to lead a cross-functional team of RTL/Silicon validation teams, software architects and developersQualificationsMinimum Qualifications- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering- Minimum of BS + 1-2 years or MS + 1 year experience with C/C++ programming with OOP- Minimum of 1 year experience with Computer System Architecture- Self-initiated and consummate team player in an Agile projectPreferred Qualifications- Experience with PC bus protocols any industry-standard IOs (PCIe, USB, DP/HDMI, etc)- Experience with GIT revision system- Experience with compilers- Experience with Windows or Linux device drivers- Knowledge in makefile build environment and scripting languages- Experience in developing or using validation tools will be highly valuableInside this Business GroupThe everyday contributions of the Intel Validation Engineering (iVE) team are essential to retaining/regaining Intels product leadership.
