Job Description

  • Extensive exposure in Engine/Transmission/Drivetrain ECUs and Hands on in ECU SW development life cycle and E/E Component Release Process.
  • Setup and operate as part of Mature Software development platform in par with ISO standards
  • Hands on Experience in handling an E/E Component / ECU HW/SW project Management, Release Planning, tracking, Co-ordination with suppliers & stakeholders ensuring E/E Component /ECU project milestones achieved
  • Ability to drive innovation and demonstrate technical leadership.
  • Ability to handle E/E Component /ECU project responsibilities, Stakeholders communication, Planning SW milestones and delivering the same on time
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Job Responsibilities:
  • Development and series support for components, which fulfil the legal regulations and production demands, the objectives from the project, Truck project and module strategy, with regard to function, quality, weight and costs.
  • Creation and possibly updating the requirements specification for components, integration of safety requirements (DOORS exchange)
  • Creation, control and maintenance of a schedule taking into consideration process milestones at entire vehicle level in consultation with Purchase, Logistics, Calculation and Quality
  • Create Engineering change request and from the module change committee meeting (E/E system partners) to seek the change implementation approval.
  • Creation and maintenance of a hazard and risk analysis(HARA) and TARA
  • Monitoring the component-FMEA of the supplier and ensuring EMI/EMC requirements satisfied
  • Creating functional safety concept at system level for the ECU based on the guidelines defined in ISO26262
  • Create feature request to supplier, analyze the efforts and negotiate the quotation.
  • Co-ordinate with different test agencies to prepare test cases, test the component, analyze the results, log the issues in defect management tool and co-ordinate with supplier for fixing.
  • Participation and providing information for concept tests in E/E (design reviews and B sample tests)
  • Matching the component package with the overall vehicle design
  • Documentation of the Release of component in the RD systems (EDLS, SMARAD, Dialog, SRM, KEM Release Finas, ZEUS. )
  • Documentation, analysis and coordination for troubleshooting the system errors, defect management
  • Coordination of ECU diagnosis in plant, aftersales, proto-build shop etc
  • Lead the team technically, provide solutions and manage project deliverables.
  • Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the activities of the assigned team with an aim to improve the overall competency of EE/ECU Component Responsibility within the team.
