Together, we re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.As part of the Global Sales Operations team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of models and systems to maximize the power of data and analytics enabling our performance improvement projects, vision, and strategy.You ll work with business analysts in figuring out the best solutions for complex data needs. You will then build systems and solutions to extract and transform data from multiple sources to create integrated reporting tools and dashboards to drive decision making for teams all around the world!DescriptionThis is an opportunity for a data analyst to work in a growing company that helps to realize life s potential through our products. The analyst should be prepared to work on not just the technical aspects of software development but also the stakeholder communication aspects that make for a successful project.As part of the Global Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced analytics, reporting, forecasts, and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support decision-making for the commercial and leadership teams. Working in a highly cross-functional and international environment, you will develop projects, analyze large sets of data, build mathematical models, create KPIs, provide support, recommendations, and improve system efficiencies within the organization. We are looking for a data driven and metrics-oriented individual with a passion for problem solving, driving key objectives for the business, and turning data-driven insights into actions. The candidate will be curious by nature, excited about collaborating daily with highly skilled associates to develop advanced analytics capabilities, and to find challenging, meaningful opportunities for business process improvements.Responsibilities:Deep dive into large sets of data for exploration and find robust methods to process different data quality levels.Use a scientific method approach to extract conclusions and business improvements opportunities.Work closely with stakeholders and team leader to gather requirements, turn business problems into analytical projects and create a solution plan.Support data mining and analysis by developing or leveraging existing dashboards and tools.Design and maintain ETL processes, data platforms, scripts and applications internally created.Develop forecasts and complex statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses.Process queries using various business tools and programming languages while working with large and complex data management tools.Build visually rich, engaging, and efficient analytics and tools, enabling data-driven decision making.Leverage automation tools and develop scripts to monitor KPIs.Build followership through data good practices and design. Build trust through accuracy and security.Provide advice and recommendations.Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand technical choices and the steps of the data analysis process.Proactively anticipate project needs, identify root causes, and use out-of-the-box thinking to problem solve.Work in an agile environment of both core long-term projects and bursts of small independent tasksRequirements:Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (data science, quant finance, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or comparable field).Fluent in English.4+ years of relevant experience preferably in a life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical organization (3 years with a master s degree, relevant experience with a PhD). However, we also value diversity in experiences.Excellent skills in Power Query, DAX, SQL and Azure / MS Server BI Stack(SSIS / SSRS / SSAS)Proficiency with Python/R, but other languages will be considered.Strong experience with data management and visualization tools, such as SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI), Tableau.Experience with cloud-based platform services.Experience in handling very large sets of data is a plus.Experience with Oracle, OBIEE, SFDC or other CRM/ERP systems is a plus.Experience to predictive modelling, data mining, regression techniques, testing methodologies or machine learning is a strong plus.Your profile:Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage large quantities of data.Strong problem-solving skillsCreative and critical thinking with high curiosityAbility to work independentlyConscientious of the sensitive nature of information with an excellent attention to security topics.Proficient ability to handle multiple simultaneous deadlines through prioritizationStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levelsBuilds followership and teamwork and an environment in which organizations and teams collaborate acrossWhen you join us, you ll also be joining Danaher s global organization, where 69,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
