Joining us means joining a truly global community of more than 36 300 people dedicated to solving real-world mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.Job PurposeThe purpose of this role to build inhouse delivery expertise for data integration area and delivery of data integration services for the platform.The Data Integration Delivery Expert will be responsible for driving and supporting the DIB (Data Integration Backbone) project teams (internal or external) to plan and execute the Build, Release and Test of all Data Integration Backbone projects, work packages on multiple business function projects, use cases.Organization structureAPAC/HQ Shared Services-India/IS&TData Integration Delivery Manager Head of Enterprise Data PlatformsNetwork & Links Internal:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead DIB(Data Integration Backbone)team involving internal or external partner to deliver Data Integration projects or work packages on time and within budget for the project
• Maintain end-to-end accountability for project success and overall delivery excellence for Data Integration Backbone projects
• Engage with internal teams, DIB(Data Integration Backbone) architects, with our partners to deliver on Data Integration Backbone project/work packages
• Understand the pipeline of demand and work with the DIB delivery manager, Service Delivery Centrer to ensure an appropriate supply of resources
• Responsible for financial management, reporting and optimizing processes of Data Integration Backbone project/work packages
• Should engage with our partners to evaluate RFP/proposals and negotiate on optimized delivery package ensuring Alstom interest
• Juggle multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way, with full transparency to the Data team management
• Manage multiple stakeholders as part of project delivery and work towards optimal solutions while helping them understand resource constraints and prioritization
• Holding the Data Integration Backbone teams to the highest standards, project discipline and accountability
• Continuously improving the technical delivery model and strategy, implementing and managing delivery with the associated teams
• Review of Service catalogs on regular basis with platform architects to ensure delivery excellence
• Serve as an escalation point for other domain project teams, Identify, manage and resolve complex issues, preventing escalations, where possible in timely manner
• Drives operational improvements and efficiencies through the creation and implementation of rigorous process and controls, acts as a gatekeeper for quality of all Data Integration Backbone projects/work packages
• Should know and share on regular basis, the status of projects in his/her span of control and any key issues that may impact scope or budget
• Reporting: synthesize and communicate project and business issues on an on-going basis, manage the data group s awareness of major business and IT issues involved in projects
• Should manage project finance related activities like PR/PO, GRN required for DIB delivery

Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in the area of IT project delivery for manufacturing clients
• Significant experience (5+) in a project manager or service delivery manager and business management role
• Knowledge of Data Integration concepts in general
• Working experience on any Data Integration Tool/platform like Dell Boomi will be huge advantage
• Certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis and Project Assurance
• Functional knowledge : Thorough knowledge of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management processes, manufacturing domain certification/training would be advantageous
• Familiarity with ITIL processes would be advantageous

EDUCATION:Bachelor s degree (BTech, BE, BCA/MCA, BSc/MSc) in Information Systems . Having MBA degree in general management will be added advantageBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

• Project and Service Delivery management experience in manufacturing domain
• Knowledge of Data Integration concepts, dependencies, pre-requisites, complexities involved in a Data Integration project delivery
• Working experience on any Data Integration tool will be huge advantage
• Good understanding of Data integration components like Data extraction, transformation, integration patterns
• Good business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners
• Strong customer orientation and able to manage customer expectations
• Ability to develop strategic plans and translate them to actionable roadmaps
• Good financial and people leadership skills
• Initiates, builds and maintains productive customer relationships
• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
• Ability to manage risk, and encourage strategic risk management-based delivery in others to manage expectations and communicate effectively
• Leadership skills to successfully lead large, diverse and virtual teams. Agile working experience necessary.
• Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level and regional
• Strong collaboration skills to work with teams across geography, technology, business domains and profiles
• Good understanding of project finances and proven track record of budget management
