Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Project/Scope Description:Strong knowledge on EMC Networker product, including the implementation and support, NWR 9.x preferredStrong knowledge on CommVault data protection product, including the implementation and supportUnderstanding of the Cloud technologies (Azure and AWS)Able to support the complex environment and able to get the issues resolved and document the issues /resolutionAble to support the data protection solutions using storage based solution (NetApp snap mirror, Snap manager and EMC App sync etc)Work on the Cisco SAN fabric for zoning and troubleshootingWorking on operating system backups and recoveryAble to manage the project independentlyKnowledge on tape libraries / Data domain / AvamarProviding support for Enterprise Storage Infrastructure/ Data protection, respond to and resolve escalated issues. Escalate to and manage external service providers or vendors until problem resolution.Vendor managementMonitor, review and optimize the performance and improve the backup and restore success rateDevelop reporting mechanisms on weekly, monthly basis to ensure conformance to business SLAs.Troubleshoot Performances issuesShould be able to handle technical escalations from L1 & L2 teams.Mentoring & knowledge transfer to L1 & L2 teams for performance improvement

Profile:
  • Administering the Networker / Commvault Management Console Server and command line exposure
  • Experience in Cloud (AWS / Azure)
  • Networker / Commvault Recovery Overview.
  • Experience on executing the projects and knowledge on PMM method
  • Disaster Recovery of a Networker Server,
  • EMC Networker Performance Tuning.
  • Performing Cloning and Staging, Administering the Networker Server.
  • Knowledge of DDBoost(Configuration / Troubleshooting),
  • Configuring and Managing HP/Quantum Devices (SILO / JUKEBOX).
  • Required knowledge on Oracle, SQL, DB2, and NDMP.
  • Should have knowledge in Change Management, Problem Management.
  • Should be comfortable working in 24*7 environment
