• Define the architectures for AI/ML infused Industrial Automation solutions from embedded devices up to the cloud
• Identify key technical components to build modern AI-based solutions for Industrial Automation
• Work closely with the engineering team to deliver the solutions
• Manage full spectrum from conducting experiments to delivering production ready AI solutions
• Work as part of a global team to deliver comprehensive solutions across different Lines-of-Businesses
• Participate in working groups in addressing specific challenges / ad-hoc projects
• Research emerging technologies deemed relevant to AI solutions
• Perform the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to the development of the AI solutions
• Design and lead the implementation of a solution architecture based on the requirements and alignment to the business strategy.
• Coordinate and participate in the solution architecture implementation and modification activities
• Analyze designs of existing offers and develop a solution implementation roadmap based on current vs. future capabilities in a cohesive architecture viewpoint
• Ensure conceptual completeness of the technical solution, working across other domains as needed
• Be a thought leader and mentor in your domain.
• Assists with business case creation and KPI capture.

• Master s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
• Expert knowledge in software development (E.g. Python, C, C++, Java, C#, .) and software architectures
• Experience with common AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, .)
• Knowledge of Embedded Development and Hardware Acceleration (e.g. Dedicated AI accelerators, GPUs, ) is desirable
• Knowledge of Ethernet-based communication systems (e.g. TSN, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus, .) is desirable
• Knowledge of programming Industrial Control Systems (e.g. IEC 61131-3 or IEC 61499) is a plus.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM) is desirable
• You speak English fluently and integrate at ease in an international and multicultural environment
