  • Working on automation of processes and admin activities.
  • Conceptualize and verbalize the benefits of technology in solving real business problems.
  • Mentor developers to help them solve problems and grow, especially as it relates to the database.
  • Create, communicate, and maintain best practices.
  • Work with multiple technologies and in projects with high complexity.
  • Security and compliance to provide secure environment to our customers.
  • Work to consistently improve internal processes Storage and Capacity Planning, Backup and Recovery

  • 7 Years Experience in Installations of InfoSphere Information Server DataStage 8.x 9.x & 11.x and IBM Websphere application server versions 6.x, 7.x & 8.x & IBM HTTP Server on Unix and Windows environments.
  • Administration of IBM InfoSphere DataStage 8.x, 9.1 & 11.xPerform System admin activity rolls such as providing DS access, Deploying DS Jobs, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in DataStage configurations and setups and migration
  • Import/export of Information Server code across various environments/Projects.
  • Good Knowledge in setting up the projects, roles, users, privileges across different environments (DEV,PROD)
  • Develop jobs for Extraction/Transformation/Loading of the legacy data to Data Warehouse using Backup & Restore of DataStage Knowledge on DB2.
  • Oracle, Teradata, and SQL Server
  • Knowledge in Unix and Shell scripting.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in Disaster Recovery solutions including designing, configuring and ongoing support is preferred
  • Knowledge of Enterprise backup solutions is preferred
