Deputy Chief Financial Officer - Pharma

Job Description

We are looking for Deputy - CFO for one of the Listed Pharma Organisation.Lead financial planning and the decision-making process to ensure delivery of business objectives and outcomes in line with company strategy. The role involves ensuring an effective financial control framework across the business operations. Statutory Reporting, Treasury and Financial Operations activities also form parts of the responsibility of the Deputy CFO.Lead Business and Financial Planning:- Drive with the Strategy team for the annual and long-range planning exercise in line with the Strategic plan to deliver the financial objectives of the company - Help business divisions with performance management and course correction incase of shortfall vs plan - Run the Management Information platform to provide sharp and insightful analysis to the leadership Decision Support and Finance Business Partnering:- Lead the Finance Business partnering for all the internal divisions and support the divisions on their decision-making process through analysis and insights - Maintain and manage a cost framework to ensure delivery of adequate operating margins- Improve and optimize processes for business agility while maintaining an effective control framework around business activities - Lead the risk management process in the business divisions Oversee Financial Controlling:- Formulate policy for pricing, taxation, financial audits, and financial performance reporting- Establish internal controls to enable an efficient and effective operating framework ensuring business optimization and good corporate governance practices - Drive accurate preparation of the books of accounts and ensure timely reporting of the same in alignment with statutory requirements - Maintain an assurance framework (process, revenues, costs) to ensure minimum deviation from processes and budgets Direct Treasury and Tax Planning:- Lead fund management and liquidity risk management to ensure profitable and viable business operations- Drive appropriate term borrowings and/ or investments, as needed- Drive tax-linked efficiencies by ensuring timely submission of all tax incentive credit documentation and by influencing government policies favoring optimized tax cash flow - Manage forex exposures in a disciplined manner to reduce forex volatility risks in the P&L and cashflowsOther engagements:- Engage with BD and Commercial Strategy teams to manage a compliant, yet effective pricing policy for each of the divisions- Engage with Supply Chain to ensure cost and delivery effectiveness of procurement.- Hold the accountability for master data management for vendors, materials, and assets - Engage with IT to deliver a highly digital environment for the Finance function, We are looking for Deputy - CFO for one of the Listed Pharma Organisation.Lead financial planning and the decision-making process to ensure delivery of business objectives and outcomes in line with company strategy.
