Roles and ResponsibilitiesB.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.3-5 years in automotive BIW / Structure / Sheet metal Design/Spot welding/Mig welding Fixtures.Role and responsibilitiesCapable to develop automotive body/structure welding fixtures, structuring of fixtures defining Kinematics for fixture, Responsible for working on complex engineering parts ensuring quality and meeting the project timeline. Work in team and support other team members. Responsible for detailed engineering design fixture in the project.Independently work on the fixture and get customer DAP for design closures Creation of Bill of material Robot Payload, Engraving list, Shim plan, Turntable calculation. Ergonomics calculation. Standard BOP selection and Familiarity in Pneumatic, sensors and Integration related elements Desired SkillsGood knowledge of BIW (Body-in-White) Design of structural components (e.g. Door Panels / Body Side Panel / Underbody Panels) Proficient in CATIA V5/ProE Creo .Must have strong experience in design and basic principles of fixture.Working knowledge of, Grippers, Deposits, Racks, Ped Stands, Checking fixtures, , Glue Stands, Gun stands, Turntable frames, Load table. Must have relevant experience in Master Sections of all standard elements like, sensors pneumatic etc. Must have knowledge of NAM and European standards Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes. Should have knowledge of GD&T. Must have handled projects for leading Automotive OEMs. Good knowledge of joining processes e.g. Spot welding, Mig welding, Tig. Must be willing to deliver as a team depending on the project requirement.,
