Job Description

    DescriptionDescriptionA typical day in the life of an Evangelist here at Apple involves meeting the creators behind handpicked apps and offering them suggestions that enhance the overall user experience. You suggest paradigms and frameworks that are well established on Apple Platforms and are best fitted to the problem the app is trying to solve. In this role you will work directly with third party developers to create outstanding apps for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS that exhibit intuitive and compelling design and use key Apple hardware features and frameworks. You will be expected to provide sound advice on a wide range of design matters including layout, typography, information architecture, iconography, gestural behaviors, animation, UX writing, accessibility and more. You ll also produce design content/presentations as part of our workshop events and outreach efforts. You will also help lead ideation exercises, prototype new concepts for larger Evangelism wide in-house products. You ll be trusted to understand and explain Apple s design system to a broad audience including engineers, business leads, executives, and designers with varying degrees of experience working on Apple platforms. You will be expected to take thoughtful and strategic risks, push boundaries, and act as an advocate for the user., Key QualificationsKey Qualifications
    • 3+ years experience in interaction, visual and/or product design
    • Highly proficient with modern design, prototyping and presentation tools such as Sketch, Figma, XD, Keynote, Principle, After Effects
    • Experience with leading the product design for apps that have been shipped or in the making.
    • Adept at mentoring designers and setting clear, ambitious and achievable goals
    • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills with an openness to teach and learn from others
    • An ability to deliver clear, compelling and persuasive presentations
    • Hands-on experience designing for Apple platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and/or tvOS)
    • In-depth understanding of the Human interface guidelines, app development process and Apple frameworks
    • Interactive prototyping and programming experience is a plus
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers is a must
