These companies rely heavily on managing their products across the extended enterprise, it becomes essential to establish a digital thread for product data to ensure access to up-to-date product data and traceability. SAP s digital thread program has been identified as a cornerstone of the Intelligent Enterprise for PLM. Our vision is to enable the digital thread from design to operate while leveraging the most common intelligent technologies.We re looking for a motivated and talented (junior) developer who wants to join us on our exciting journey to create SAP s digital thread solution. You will make sure that we develop a communication framework that allows a connected data flow and integrated view of the product data throughout its lifecycle across traditionally siloed functional perspectives.While coding will be your core task, developing software at SAP is much more than just that. It s a team effort, including designing our products for the end user/customers, delivering our services efficiently and fast, in time and in quality. In this role you will: Role Developer Associate

  • Understand concepts, specifications and high level design, product architecture and suggest improvements and changes wherever necessary
  • Implement design using appropriate technology, ensuring high quality through test-driven-development, peer reviews, manual and automated unit tests
  • Self-learn new technologies and apply those in the product development in an integrated fashion.
  • Shall work with Architect very closely and support him in technical design or provide design concept to team in close collaboration with Architect.
  • Work independently for technical concepts and does not solely on architect.
  • Work with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop the state of the art architecture for SAP applications in S/4 HANA and cloud.
  • Ensure High quality standards of the product.
  • Author/Contribute to detailed design specifications and lead reviews to conform to software development processes.
Role Requirements
  • Master/ Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related
  • 1-3 years of experience in professional software development, preferably within a scrum team
  • Very good software development skills in SAP UI5, OData, JAVA, SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD development
  • Eager to write high quality code and are familiar with agile development methods
  • Passionate about applying your analytical skills to crack hard nuts , and step out of your comfort zone if needed
  • Collaboration skills to work with others and sharing your knowledge and ideas
  • Desirous to take responsibility for organizing and developing yourself
  • Detailed knowledge of the PLM core processes is and added advantage
