Devops Engineer - Platform Engineering

Job Description

• Expert in GIT and branching strategies
• Expert in writing Azure DevOps pipeline templates
• Hands-on experience on Docker, Kubernetes, AKS is mandatory
• Hands-on experience on Python scripting and Pulumi is mandatory
• Hands on experience in Azure Devops tool chains
• Hands-on experience on Azure Cloud is mandatory
• Experience in Devops tools like SonarQube, Jenkins, BlackDuck, XRay etc.,
• Experience with agile, SCRUM and a rapid development cycle
• Experience with Monitoring tools
• Knowledge on Software Development process (SDLC)
• Knowledge on SecOps
General Responsibilities:
• Understand the requirements and implement appropriate solution.
• Collaborate with various teams, team members to have an appropriate solution/requirement.
• Develop/Enhance toolchains using various technologies
• Participate, drive technical discussions, and explain Azure solutions and product options to meet requirements.
• Bring in latest technologies and develop PoCs for problem statements.
• Setup and maintain loosely coupled CI pipeline end to end.
• Expertise creating testing & deployment stages in CICD
• Understand the automotive domain and continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures.
Non-Technical Skills:
• Passion for Automation
• Proficient in English, German is a plus
• Effective problem solving and analytical skills
• Good leadership, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment Intercultural Competence , Team Spirits, Communication and Cooperation ability, High degree of Independence
Certifications:
• Azure Cert: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise-grade high volume, low latency, distributed applications via cloud-based deployment and operational processes
• Implement security best practices in public and private clouds and also secure containers and micro services
• Good project management skills, ability to operate as part of a team organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation
