Job Description

Wholesale Loans Technology supports Commercial Lending activities (Bi-Lateral or Multi-Lateral Loans) for multiple lines of businesses of JP Morgan Chase. This role is for a senior Java full stack hands-on developer to work with the Wholesale Loan Technology team at JPMorgan, Bangalore office.Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of key functionality within the application independently.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand the business requirements and user acceptance testing teams to support during UAT phase.
  • Drive the technical and design reviews and define/Improve processes with in the project by proposing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent Communication and Inter-personal skills, both with business customers and with fellow IT professionals (Business Analysts, Project Managers and Developers).
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work without direction
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent from premium colleges.
Competencies:Essential:
  • Minimum 10 years of java/j2ee application development experience.
  • Strong skills around object oriented analysis and design (OOAD),Design principles and Design patterns
  • Ability to trouble shoot and debug an application for any application issues.
  • Strong on hands coding experience in Core java 8+ ,Web services ( REST and SOAP), Spring Boot, Spring modules, Spring Boot ,Hibernate , Junit , MockitTo ,JMS .
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (preferably AWS ) .
  • Experience with messaging and integration frameworks like JMS, MQ, Kafka
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and knowledge on database management concepts.
  • Experience with JDBC and persistence API frameworks.
  • Strong on hands skills in UI/UX Development using Node JS, Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, HTML5 and experience with integrating middleware technologies/channels.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills
Desired Skills
  1. 2+ years of experience working in a financial services company environment and especially on Loans.
  2. Exposure to IT services management such as ServiceNow
  3. Experience with Continuous integration/Continuous delivery (CI/CD) including DevOps as part of Software Development and Deployment Life Cycle.
  4. Exposure to any loan systems like LoanIQ or ACBS.
