Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industryAs a Senior Developer with the Search team you will be instrumental in and responsible for designing and developing high quality applications and solutions that address business needs by delivering new capabilities to customers and merchants. This will include designing and developing or enhancing transaction processing applications, including building and testing of heterogeneous interfaces across the ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be proficient with enterprise applications developed using spring framework, with hands on experience on Enterprise Integration Patterns. Exposure to Big Data technologies like Spark, Cassandra, Kafka will be preferred.Responsibilities:Design and Develop Search platform and applicationsMentor junior team membersSelf-starter, independently takes initiative in driving assignments to completion and solving problems without need for escalationProactively identify gaps in all processes, procedures, monitors, alerts, designs, etc. and provide recommendations on how to resolvePerform regular code reviewsWork closely with business analyst, quality assurance, and project management resources throughout delivery of solutions Base Qualifications:Mandatory hands-on experience on core Java + Spring Boot7+ years experience with full development lifecycle from concept through implementation4+ years experience with design, development, deployment, and support of large-scale applications in a mission-critical production environment5+ years experience with Maven, Java + Spring based application design and development2+ years experience with Spark / Hadoop MapReduce based application design and developmentExcellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience in Agile development lifecycle methodologyPreferred experience in Java as well as big data application performance tuningPreferred Skills:Experience with Spark, Kafka and Cassandra.Experience with Maven, CI/CD, Unit testing and Integration testing frameworksExperience with various software development methodologies in a large scale organization.Exceptional written and verbal skillsExperience with batch scheduling tools (like Control-M)Experience with GIT / BitBucket ,
